They mostly come with a bevel, and small margin, so just remove burrs. Exhaust: Put a generous radius on the outer edge as shown, then polish it up to remove file/machining marks. SLIGHTLY break edge between seat and margin. This modification is the one that probably has the biggest return for the time invested. Do it, even if you don't port your heads, or even if you have to do a little "selective rule intrepetation"!
